NOTICE: INVITATION TO BID

SCOPE OF WORK:
The projects will consist of improvements to the exterior and the interior of the school. Civil, landscape, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, roofing, security improvements to the school will be done. Replacement of sidewalks, planters, main entrance stair and ramp and the installation of a new canopy. Installation of a storm sewer line in the front of the school and in the courtyards to collect the water from new roof drains. The existing roofing system will be replaced in most of the buildings. Also included are remediation of soil erosion underneath dense shade trees with crushed gravel, the replacement of a raised planter and planter wall in poor condition and new drip irrigation planting within the raised planter. Exterior fenestration and sealants replacement,
façade cleaning & painting. A secure vestibule will be provided at the main entrance. Removal of
existing and installation of new ceilings, LED lights and controls upgrade to the fire alarm and inter-com
system will be done.

BUDGET:
$11,119,842.00

PRE-BID DATE AND LOCATION:
A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, October 17, 2022, at 6920 Meadow Rd, Dallas, TX 75230 for all interested parties. This meeting is not mandatory, but information discussed will be extremely helpful in preparation of the proposal.

BID-DATE & LOCATION:
All Construction Services construction procurements must be physically delivered to the Construction Services office, at the Linus D. Wright Dallas ISD Administration Building 9400 North Central Expressway, Suite 800 Dallas, TX 75231. (Call 972.925.7200 for directions). Delivery to other locations will result in rejection of a CSP.

Completed CSP Package Part 1-A, 1-B and 1-C are due on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM (local time).

Completed CSP Package Part 2 is due on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 3:00 PM (local time).

Any materials received after the respective closing dates / times will not be considered.

OWNER’S PROJECT MANAGER (PM)
JACOBS will be the Owner’s Program Manager (PM) for the management of planning, design, permitting, construction, and post-construction for this CSP. All correspondence and communication during the contract finalization, construction and post-construction processes shall be directed to the Architect/Engineer firm (A/E) with copy to JACOBS. During construction, the PM shall have authority to act on behalf of Dallas ISD for Owner related direction.
